How much is a standard or reasonable fee to charge for private English lessons?

Lol nobody would do private lessons for 15 an hour. I charge 30 IF they come to me. If i go them it's more.

Make it classes with 3-4 students and charge $40 - makes more sense for the students and you.

Just for your information, in my previous English center in HCMC, it will be $20/ hour in average. So, I think you should ask for $22/ hour for a private lesson at home. And remember to consider the transportation fee if your house is far.

I charge between 20 - 30 $ per hour depending what they want and where I need to travel too. If its just speaking, and its nearby, I start at $20. If they want to practise all the skills it goes up. I've heard many a time Hanoi pays more for teachers both in schools and privately than HCMC.
