Without
objectivity, anything can be justified, tolerated, propagated,
promoted, excused, enabled, assisted, empowered, multiplied, normalized,
forgotten, alienated.
.
.
People
are sad about this death of Carrie Fisher and less sad about the death
of Christians in Syria and cops in America and blacks in Chicago. Objectivity protects individualized objectivity or subjectivity to some extent, allegedly speaking.
.
.
Children
cannot have protection from abuse, harassment, rape, murder, from
adults, without objectivity, absolute truth, a ruler, a line that we are
to not cross.
.
.
All
the different phobias, like that for Islam or now that of crimes on
children, roots from a phobia for sin, crime, depravity, subjectivity,
and anything that isn't God, isn't holy, isn't perfect.
.
.
A
phobia is a fear and a fear is an emotion that can alert us of
obstacles that we are to overcome. If I see Muslims killing my mother,
then I should have some fear for that, but then I need to get up and do
whatever I can to be a hero. God asks us to focus, to emphasize on
grace, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, agape, but there may be
exceptions at times.
