VN Travel Agency Crimes...

Tell the police to throw me in jail. I'm illegally in Vietnam. My visa expired last year. I'm homeless for the past few months. Legally, I don't know what I should do. I tried to extend my visa 4 times. I began trying before it expired.
.
They said I'm on a blacklist. But the 4th agency said I need residence. No blacklist. Which is true? Blacklist or white list? They said the landlord of my last room didn't register me with the ward committee police, but how was I able to extend 3 times & renew 1 time at that same address if that address wasn't registered? Why can't I extend my visa? I think it might be because I didn't have a residence when applying for an extension and not because of what my last landlord did or didn't do with residence registration where I was living. I think maybe it doesn't matter where I was living & maybe it only matters where you are living at the time of the visa extending process.
.
Maybe there is a limit for how many times a 3 months DN business visa can be extended. I came to Vietnam from the Cambodian border gate in March 2015 & extended that visa 2 times with my last address. Maybe, that visa has a limit of 9 months, which means only 2 extensions allowed. That would mean I can't extend it for a 3rd time now.
.
Why can't I extend my visa? 1. Because of police reports against me from what happened at Circle K? 2. Because of the 9 months visa limit? 3. Because of a lack of residence? 4. Because of a lack of employment?

Joey Arnold Romelus Saladar, I did not say residence card. When I talk about residence, I just wrote "Residence" and not "Residence Card." I understand the differences. Some people can apply for a residence card.
.
If I'm on a list, then why would leaving and com
ing back clear you from that list? Why would the punishment or penalty simply be to leave the country and to come back to that same country?
.
If you are on bad black list, then maybe it is because of something bad. Maybe I did something bad. Therefore, I should have to go to jail or pay a fine. If I have to pay a fine, then why does the fine have to be paid at the border and why would an country exit be required?

Romelus Saladar Hihihihihihihihi.... OF COURSE.. hahahahaahaha... oh by the way..... if you are LACK of a RESIDENCE.... what does that ALSO mean... hihihihihihi... hahahahaahahaha.... to be in a country as a RESIDENT... you need to be a RESIDENT.. that means you need to hold IDENTITY as a RESIDENT.... hihihihihi... therefore A RESIDENT CARD... hahahahaahahaha... you can't call yourself a RESIDENT... at most... you're a TOURIST... that is a DIFFERENT status to a DN category... hahahaahahaha... it's always sad to hear your story... it's FUNNY how you can't UNDERSTAND what you are SAYING !!!

Soren Kirchner Solution (I repeat) is to go to the Imiigration police. I have found them to be helpful They will fix the problem and you will have to pay a fine, perhaps. Cheaper to face up to it now than wait and watch your fine go up.

Joey Arnold Soren Kirchner, I have to pay a fine to fix the problems that other people made? I have to pay debts that I do not owe? I have to suffer for the negligence of agencies who failed to tell me what I need to know?
.
Romelus Saladar, Vietnam law requires t
he travel agencies to tell me what I need to know. I was reading the Vietnamese laws and I think it talked about the requirements of the travel agencies. I believe that they failed to tell me the exact requirements that I must meet.
.
I tried 4 times to extend my visa. I was not told what my requirements might be. They simply say that they will try to help me. Of course, they can fail and that is ok, but they didn't really give me an outline of rules, laws, and real-life examples of what happens if this happens or if that happens.... case 1... case 2.... and that is what I want to know more about......

Soren Kirchner Good. Take all of your documents and make your case to the police now. You will have to face it later or sooner. Sonner at worst is cheaper and at best maybe you get your lucky break? Either way, what you are doing to yourself is not good for you and for your students

Joey Arnold Somebody is trying to get me residence in order to extend my visa. I will wait for that. I may wait some more days for that. If that doesn't work, then I'll try something else.....

Joey Arnold Romelus Saladar, you might be insulting me. You might be mocking me. Maybe, you are making fun of me. You might be blaming me for what agencies did. First, they made me a DN visa even tho I asked for a DL. It's my fault for not knowing everything & for not going back to them after seeing DN in my passport. But it's still there fault for doing it in the first place, which is more important than what I did. My fault is only as big as the fault of police not stopping crime. I didn't stop a crime. But the agencies did the crime, not me.
.
And there is a difference between a residence paper that simply says you live somewhere according to the ward committee police and a residence card which is only made eligible for expats who are not simply short-term tourists. Most expats work & are therefore able to apply for a residence card which is not simply for an address in VN but rather a status which might be a path towards becoming naturalized as in becoming a citizen.... it may not actually be a path & you may not be able to become Vietnamese that way like you can in maybe some countries, but it is a condition that is different or higher than that of mere tourist status....
